The Camillus Sportsmen's Club will hold a garand and military bolt-rifle match from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with registrations at 8 a.m. and noon on Saturday, July 17 at the Camillus Sportsman Club, 5803, Devoe Road, Camillus.

Professional instructor Mike DeTomaso is teaching a White River Bass Bug Fly Tying Outdoor Skills Workshop at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9 at Bass Pro Shops.
Cost of the class is free.
Anyone interested can sign up in the White River Fly Shop.

Bass Pro going to the dogs July 30-31
On Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31, Bass Pro Shops will host a Dock Dogs competition. Some of the longest jumping dogs in the Northeast fly through the air with the greatest of ease.
Dog flights will be on Saturday at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. On Sunday, dogs will jump at 10 a.m. and finals will be at 2 p.m. Competition will take place in front of the Bass Pro Shops store.

Pheasants Forever field trip July 14
The Finger Lakes Chapter of Pheasants Forever will have its annual summer field trip at 7 p.m. on July 14 at the NYSDEC Field office located on Morgan Road in Savannah.
This field trip gives chapter members and other interested people the opportunity to see and asked questions about the grassland habitat.
