WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - John Pollick, 84, died peacefully at home Thursday, June 16, 2005, in West Palm Beach, Fla.
He was born in Auburn, and spent many years at the Auburn Spark Plug. After four years in the service of the U.S. Army military police during World War II, he returned to Auburn.
In 1956 he and his wife, the former Helen Marintez, relocated to Florida.
He had a landscaping business and later became an electrician.
In addition to his wife, he survived by one daughter, Valerie Taylor; two grandchildren, John Taylor and Nicky Taylor; and one great-grandchild, Joey Mason Taylor.
The Pollicks would have been married 60 years in 2006.
