AUBURN - Louise M. Cuskey, 90, formerly of 169 Murray St., Auburn, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Cuskey was born in Auburn, on May 9, 1915. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary E. Lawler Young. A lifelong resident of Auburn, she had attended local schools and had been employed at the YMCA-WEIU for a number of years, retiring in 1982. She was a loving mother and wife to her children and late husband, George J. Cuskey. Mrs. Cuskey was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Robert) Steigerwald of Auburn, Joyce Cuskey of Syracuse, and Carol (Richard) Beauchine, also of Auburn; her two sons, Thomas (Angela) Cuskey of Liverpool and John (Madeline) Cuskey of Manlius; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.
In addition to her husband, George, Louise was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Paul Young.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered for Mrs. Cuskey at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Family Church, followed by interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. today, June 1, at the White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St., Auburn.
Those desiring, may send memorial contributions to either the local SPCA or to Holy Family Church Renovation Fund, 85 North St., Auburn, in memory of Louise Coskey.
