WEEDSPORT - Lucille Castaldo, 47, of Weedsport, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 28, 2005, at her residence.
Lucille had only resided in this area for a short period of time, having moved to the Weedsport area in order to be closer to her children. She was born in Queens, on May 15, 1958, the daughter of Gilda Peluso Castaldo of Queens, and the late Albert B. Castaldo. She attended schools in New York City, and most recently had been employed with security at the Aqueduct Race Track in Queens.

She is survived by her two children, Danielle Meyer of Seneca Falls, and Robert Meyer of Waterloo; her mother, Gilda Castaldo; and brother, Daniel (Elsa) Castaldo of Queens; three nieces, a grandniece and grandnephews. She also leaves many friends that she had made while living in the Weedsport area.

Friends may visit with her family from 7 to 9 p.m. today, June 1, at the White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport. Prayer services will be held just prior to the closing of the calling hours. Interment will take place locally and be held privately for her family.
