AUBURN - Justin LynDaker had seven strikeouts and Brendan Phiefer added four to lead Nucor to an 8-5 win over Tom Thumb in an Auburn Little League game on Friday.
LynDaker had two triples, Bobby Wagner and Adam Zelehowsky added a double and a single each. Brandon Bozek had a triple.
Pat Farrel had seven strikeouts to lead Tom Thumb. Dominic Petrosino had a triple and two singles, Matt Moore had a double and single. Farrel, Matt Leja and Tom Lupo added a single.
PONY LEAGUE
RJ Anderson, Josh Sorenson and Mike Tarby had three hits each to lead Finger Lakes Center for Living to an 11-7 win over The Printery.
Nathan Evangelista had two hits. Andrew Merrill, Marissa Tarby, Luke Boedicker and Zeph Schoonmaker each had one hit.
Mitch Dec had two hits to lead the Printery. Brent DeBois, Billy Farrington, Bobby Krause and Sam Delfavero each had one hit.
