Trio of locals heading to states

CICERO - Three more local athletes are heading to next week's state track and field meet in Cicero after the Section III boys state qualifier Friday.

Steve Corsello (800 meters), Tyler Nichols (pole vault) and Nick VanWie (triple jump) will compete in their respective events June 3 and 4.

Skaneateles senior Corsello won by the greatest margins for local athletes, trouncing the competition in the 800 in a time of 1:56.41.
