AUBURN - A four-run fourth inning propelled Finger Lakes Center for the Living over The Citizen 5-3 in an Auburn Pony League game Tuesday.

RJ Anderson had two hits to lead FLCL, while Mike Tarby (triple), Luke Boedicker, Marissa Tarby and Andrew Merrill each had one hit.

For The Citizen, Pat Rizzo and John Rizzo each had double. John Rizzo also added a single.

AUBURN LITTLE LEAGUE

ACF edged Little Giants 5-4 in a battle of unbeatens.

Connor Engle blasted a three-run homer in the bottom of the fifth for ACF, and David Jacobs drove in the winning run.

Bobby Gage and Philip Cooper led the Little Giants defensively.

Mike Ferlenda (two doubles) and Greg Giannotta each had two singles to lead Mortimers over Nucor 5-2. Dana Scarselletta, Jamie Terry, Liam Major and Kyle Hlywa each added hits.

Jamie Terry and Ferlenda combined for 11 strikeouts and four hits, and Aaron Robinson was praised for good defense.

For Nucor, Eric Guyle, Brendan Phiefer, Bobby Wagner and Nick Price (triple) each had a hit. Price and Phiefer combined for nine strikeouts and scattered eight hits in the losing effort.

Kayn Design scored a run in every inning to defeat Tom Thumb 13-1. Andrew Sanders threw a complete game three-hitter with 17 strikeouts to lead Kayn Design.

Matt Carberry had five hits (two doubles), while Kach Kalabanka, Matt Colella, Jimmy Spinelli and Josh Malenick each had two hits.

Mitch Corey had two triples for Tom Thumb, while Dom Petrosino had one hit. Pat Ferrell and Josh Sturm combined for nine strikeouts.
