SCIPIO CENTER - Thomas V. Powers, of Route 34B, Scipio Center, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Powers was born in Buffalo, the son of the late Francis and Thomas J. Powers, and has resided in the Auburn area for most of his life. He was employed by the railroad for many years.
Surviving him are four sons, William Powers of Auburn, Thomas Powers of Endicott, Ronald Powers of Cato and Richard Thompson of Warren. Pa.; five daughters, Catherine Rounds of Warren, Pa., Sharon McGrail of Warren, Pa., Brenda Powers of Auburn, Debra McGrail of Scipio Center, and Janet Thompson of Warren, Pa.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Powers is predeceased by his wife, Ann Jones Powers; and a son, Jerry Powers.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at the Brew Funeral Home, 48 South St., Auburn, with a funeral service immediately following at 4 p.m. Interment will be in Warren, Pa., at the convenience of the family.
