Michael P. Sheftic
AUBURN - Michael P. Sheftic, 93, of Owasco Street, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at home with his family by his side.
Mr. Sheftic was born in Ukraine on Sept. 18, 1911. He was the son of Peter and Antonia Mowchan Sheftic. Michael owned and operated Sheftic Mobile gas stations in Auburn. He was employed by International Harvester and retired as a supervisor from G.T.E. Sylvania in Seneca Falls. He was a communicant of SS. Peter and Paul Church and was an avid bowler, active in area bowling leagues.
Michael is survived by his family: his wife, Patricia Baier Sheftic; his daughters, Patricia Gould, of Waterloo, Tina Nash and her husband, Joseph, and Mary Jean Deacy, all of Auburn; his sons, Patrick Deacy and John Sheftic, both of Auburn; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
