Auburn Kiwanis shuts out The Printery

AUBURN - Mike Charles and Cody Ladisair combined for 10 strikeouts to lead the Auburn Kiwanis past The Printery 10-0 in an Auburn Pony League game on Monday.
Charles had a home run and Charlie Elster added a double.

Mitch Dec led The Printery with two hits.

AUBURN LITTLE LEAGUE

Stanton Automatics beat Mortimer's 12-9 behind Joey DeAngelis's eight strikeouts and Jacob Leader's three.

Dan Charles, Johnny Shaw, Leader and David Fox each had two hits to lead Stanton. Nate Simmons added one hit. Mike Mitchell and Anthony Murray were cited for their defense.

Greg Giannotta had two hits to lead Mortimer's. Dana Scarselletta (triple), Mike Ferlenda and Kyle Hlywa each had one hit. Jamie Terry had six strikeouts and Mike Ferlenda added five.

Nucor beat Bouley's 12-6 behind eight strikeouts from Nick Price and Justin Lyndacker. Nick Bolak, Jeremy Stroup, Cole Bardrow and Bobby Wagner each had hits to lead Nucor.

Trevor Doan and Chris Porten shared mound duties for Bouley's. Nick Koziol had two hits and John Westmiller added two doubles.
