Lena May Ford

LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Lena May Ford, 92, of the Lincoln Nursing Center, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005.
Mrs. Ford was born Sept. 29, 1912, in Lansing, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucius Hugunine and Frances Westmiller Daisy; husband, Charles William Ford; children, Charles D. Ford, and G. "Billy" Ford; and stepson, Carlton Ford.

Survivors include three sons, Glenn Ford of Phoenix, Ariz., Roland Ford of Auburn, David B. Ford of Douglasville, Ga.; two daughters, Joanne Woodard of Lincolnton, N.C., Jessie Ford of Chesterfield, Mich.; stepdaughter, Jean Fredericks of Bayonet Point, Fla.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren..

Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at Antioch Baptist Church, with the Rev. Todd Garren officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.

Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 3387 E. Hwy. 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Warlick Funeral Home, Lincolnton, N.C., is in charge of the arrangements.
