MORAVIA - Leotta "Dot" McKane, 96, of Jewett Avenue, Moravia, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Matthew House, Auburn, after a brief illness.
Mrs. McKane was born Nov. 4, 1908, in Midland, S.D., and had been a resident of Moravia since 1949. She was a homemaker for herself and others in the Moravia area.
She was the widow of Fred "Bob" McKane, who passed away Oct. 15, 1973.
Surviving her is a daughter, Dorothy Price of Auburn; two granddaughters, Sandie (Neal McLens) Price of Dublin, Calif., and Linda (Thomas) Shugrue of West Hartford, Conn.; two great-grandsons, Colin and Taylor; and two great-granddaughters, Caitlin and Molly; one stepdaughter, Marilyn Killian of Scipio; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at a later date, to be announced. Burial will be in Cobb Street Cemetery, West Groton. There are no calling hours scheduled.
