County Babe Ruth meeting Thursday
The Cayuga County Babe Ruth League will hold its 2005 organizational meeting and election of officers at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 31 at Wayne's Computer on Rt. 5 next to Rolling Wheels.

Arsenal soccer signups start Friday

The Auburn Arsenal / CCYO girls summer soccer programs will be holding signups from 5-8 p.m., on April 1 and 9-12 p.m. on April 2 at Seward Elementary for girls currently in grades 1-6.

The cost is $40 per person. For more information, contact Bob Lee (255-6880) or George Cosentino (255-3129).

Girls entering grades 7-9 interested in travel soccer will need to contact George Cosentino for registration information.

Little League

looking for umpires

Auburn Pony and Little Leagues are looking for umpires for the upcoming season.

Umpires must be at least 16 and have a knowledge of baseball.

Dutch Hollow women's golf league

Dutch Hollow is looking for women to participate in its two-person league from 4:30-5:30 p.m., Wednesdays for 18 weeks.

Kids Sandlot taking registrations

The Kids Sandlot Baseball League is accepting registrations until April 8.

Boys and Girls League signups

Last call for Auburn Boys and Girls Baseball League. Registrations for children ages 5-8.

Twin County Soccer holding registration

Registrations will be held 10 a.m.-noon April 2 and April 6 at the Weedsport Free Library for ages 5-18 for Twin County Soccer.

Auburn YMCA to hold aquatics class

The Auburn YMCA will be holding aquatics classes beginning April 11.

Registrations for Y-members will begin March 28 and for the general public on April 4.

Fees are $30 for Y-members and $60 for the general public.

American Legion needs umpires

The American Legion youth baseball/softball league is looking for umpires.

You must be at least 14 years old and go to a mandatory clinic.

Games are Monday-Friday and occasionally Saturdays, in May and June.
