CORTLAND - Rocco J. Pisano, 59, of 28 Kellogg Road, Cortland, formerly of 38 Pulaski St., Auburn, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Northwoods Rehabilitation Center & Extended Care Facility in Cortland.
He was born in Auburn, the son of Helen Vivenzio Pisano and the late Francis Pisano, and had been an area resident for most of his life. Rocco was a veteran of the Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed for more than 20 years by the former Alco Products in Auburn.
He is survived by his loving mother, the former Helen Vivenzio of Auburn; an uncle, Fred Vivenzio and his wife, Nancy, of Auburn; an aunt, Cam Graney of Auburn; several cousins; and a very special friend and golf partner, Bob Spalding.
Rocco was predeceased by his father, Francis, in 1986.
There are no calling hours. Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn.
