AUBURN - Alfred J. Antonacci, 71, of Mercy Health and Rehabilitation Center, died Saturday, March 19, 2005.
A life resident of Auburn, Alfred was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and until his retirement was employed by the New York State Employment Department.
He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by a son, David, and a granddaughter, Judith, both of Mount Kisco; one brother, Francis, of Auburn; three sisters, Josephine Antonacci and Madeline Parks, of Auburn, and Marie Callan and her husband, John, of Sodus; and several nieces and nephews.
Alfred was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth, a brother, Henry, and a sister, Sylvia Danton.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Church to be offered by the Rev. Frank Lioi. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Auburn.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Cheche Funeral Home, 1778 Clark St., Auburn.
