CATO - Kathleen Mary Clare, 89, of W. Mechanic St., Cato, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at home.
Kathleen was born Jan. 13, 1916, in Geneva, the daughter of the late Alexander and Anna Medberry Parrow. She had retired from Gray Syracuse Inc., Chittenango. She was a resident of Manlius over than 30 years before moving to Cato 11 years ago. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Cato. She was a member of the Cato Fire Department Auxiliary.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Betty) Clare of Windsor, John R. (Mary Beth) Clare of Camillus and Ronald (Marianne) Clare of Camillus; three daughters, Patricia (Douglas) McCurdy of Cato, Deborah (Lee) Brown of Camillus and Mary Clare of Grahamsville; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Maurice Parrow of Liverpool and Robert (Maryann) Parrow of Edgenton, N.C.; a sister, Joan Charette of Purto Penasco Sonora, Mexico; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Clare, who died in 1988 and two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Jane Parrow.
Family and friends are invited to call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 21 at the family home, 2503 W. Mechanic St., Cato. Prayers will take place at the family home at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday and a Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Cato. Burial will be in Manlius Cemetery.
