MARCELLUS - Laura M. Personius, 72 of Auburn, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2005, at the home of her daughter in Marcellus.
Born in Elmira, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Dinunzio Addabbo. Laura was a former member of St. Mary's choir and a former communicant of the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and with her grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters, Deborah Gottung of Pittsfield, Mass., Mary Kay Personius of Elmira; Teresa Dalton of Auburn and Christine Kraai (Peter) of Marcellus; three sons, Michael Personius (Pat) of Auburn, Thomas Personius (Theresa) of Newfane, and Steven Personius (Vikki) of Herndon, Va.; three brothers, Philip Addabbo (Stella) of Elmira, Thomas Addabbo (Audrey) of New Jersey and Joseph Addabbo of Elmira; a sister, Elizabeth Wyatt (Ward) of Endwell; 11 grandchildren; an aunt, Nora Burnett, of Elmira and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, James Addabbo in February 2004.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m Thursday March 17, at St. Mary's Church, Auburn. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY in Laura's memory.
