AUBURN - Leona T. Scott, 78, of Rockefeller Road, Auburn, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at Auburn Memorial Hospital, Auburn.
Leona was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late James and Ruth Kimbell Post and has resided in the Auburn area all of her life. She retired from McQuay International, Auburn.
Surviving are four children, Richard A. David and his wife, Ronda, of North Carolina, Gary "Tiny" E. David of Cayuga, Robin J. Splane and her husband, James, of Auburn, and Ronald J. David and his wife, RoseAnn, of Auburn; six sisters, Betty Marren of Auburn, Edith Mule' and her husband, Mike, of Florida, Mary Guinta of Geneseo, Dorothy Wild of Auburn, Barbara Richardson of Geneseo and Jean McCarthy of Auburn; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Leona was predeceased by her husband, Richard G. David.
Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, March 1, at the Brew Funeral Home, 48 South St., Auburn. A Mass of Christian will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, in Sacred Heart Church, 90 Melrose Road, Auburn. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming.
