AUBURN - Helen Betty Shaw 79, of Auburn, died Saturday Feb. 26, 2005, in a local nursing home.
Betty was a born in Hornell, the daughter of Floyd and Pauline Jackson Lahsure, and lived most of her life in the Auburn area. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Betty is survived by her son, William E. Shaw, and his wife, Cathy, of Auburn; daughters, Miss Dawn Shaw of Seneca Falls, and Laurie TenEyck and her husband, Edward, of Savannah, Bonnie and Robin Shaw of Auburn; sister, Marion Potter, of Seneca Falls; brother, Raymond Lahsure, of Painted Post; three grandchildren, Cassie and BJ Shaw and Mariah TenEyck; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, William F. Shaw, on Nov. 26, 2004.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Fleming. Family and friends are invited to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home, 42 E. Genesee St., Auburn. Family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The Matthew House, 43 Metcalf Drive, Auburn, NY 13021 in memory of Mrs. Shaw.
