AUBURN - Elizabeth Gaklik, wife of the late Edward Gaklik, died Saturday, February 26, 2005, at the Auburn Nursing Home, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Gaklik was a life resident of the Auburn area. She was a former employee of the Singer Co., retiring in 1978. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, and a former member of the church Rosary Society.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Robert) Beaulieu of Moravia; her son, Leon (Elaine) Gaklik of Savannah; seven grandchildren, Sharon Freita, Edward and Kathy Gaklik, Elizabeth Stoltz, Judith and Theresa Shutter and Kenneth Shutter Jr.; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Richard Gaklil in 2003.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gaklik will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no prior calling hours.

Contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Finger Lakes.
