AUBURN - Michael Marsilla, 87, of Auburn, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, in Auburn Memorial Hospital.
A native of Italy, Michael had lived most of his life in Auburn. He was a communicant of St. Francis Church and a veteran of World War II. Until his retirement, Michael was a self-employed barber operating the Ritz Barber Shop.
Michael was the husband of the late Mary Cotrumano Marsilla.
He is survived by two nieces, Deborah Blackman and her husband, George of Athens, Pa. and Jacqueline Trombley and her husband, Art of Weedsport; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; one great-great-niece and one great-great-nephew.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian burial to be offered at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Francis Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Viewing will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Cheche Funeral Home.
