Ruby M. Morey

MEMPHIS - Ruby M. Morey, 90, formerly of Whiting Road, Memphis, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, in Auburn Memorial Hospital.
Born in Parishville, Mrs. Morey moved to the town of Elbridge in 1942.

She was a past Noble Grand in the Rebekah Lodge of Warners. Mrs. Morey was formerly active in the Girl Scouts and the Camp Fire Girls.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald H., in 1977; a son, Donald C., in 1989; and a daughter, Mary Lou Wheeler, in 1991.

Surviving are two daughters, Joan (John) Nevin of Jordan and Jill (Anthony) Syracuse of Chardon, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-granchildren.

Services will be 7 p.m. Sunday, in the Bush Funeral Home, Jordan, with the Rev. James Vredenburg officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home, 15 N. Main St.

Contributions may be made to Jordan-Bramley Library or the Memphis Fire Department.
