If you are searching for answers to see if you will get that job promotion you're waiting for, or about your children's scholastic future, or to find out if you will have a successful marriage or relationship with your current mate, then look no further.
The Holiday Inn of Liverpool will host the 15th Annual International Psychic Festival this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
"People will usually come to the festival looking for something out of the ordinary," said Mary Ann Dunn, festival organizer. "What a lot of people want to know about the most is not their long-term future, but their near future. They have an idea of where they want to go and what they should do about it, but they are hesitant to do something about it."
Dunn and her late husband Ron, who Dunn said was one of the most respected psychics in central New York, thought of the idea to put on a show in the area after searching for larger psychic festivals for years.
"My husband an I had always traveled and participated in smaller shows. We thought it would be great to put on a larger show," said Dunn. "There were just no big psychic shows, and it was just a good time to do something like this."
According to 13-year professional psychic Cindy Griffith, it is fine with her if people are hesitant about receiving a reading.
"The festival is more than just coming in to see the psychics doing palm reading and astrology or checking out the many lectures the festival will present," said Griffith, who gave up her career in real estate to get into the business of Tarot card reading because she saw how it helped people make a difference in their lives.
"But mostly the festival gives people a chance to have fun without the pressure to have a reading," she said.
Griffith also said the festival is a chance for her to meet and greet with her other supernatural friends and "family."
"This group of psychics that come to the festival are the most professional group of people I've ever worked with," Griffith said. "We have a lot of psychics coming from all over central New York. We need to be around those who are like-minded and receptive of our practice which gives us support and helps better ourselves."
Dunn feels that everyone who attends the festival should wind up feeling better about themselves.
"What the psychics will do is come out and positively reinforce what their client sees in life," Dunn said. "If not a reading of some sort, I hope they receive some form of entertainment. It is important that those who attend the festival come out feeling good."
