BINGHAMTON - The Cayuga Community College men's basketball team lost to Broome 82-80 on Saturday.

Dashawn Coleman had 27 points to lead the Spartans, while Rodney Westbrook had 10.

Cayuga (6-2 MSAC, 14-8 overall) plays at Finger Lakes Community College on Tuesday.

BINGHAMTON - A 28-25 halftime lead slipped away for the Spartans (4-4, 13-9), despite a big effort from Shakimba Pierre.

Pierre led the Spartans with 20 points, 18 rebounds, four assists, five steals and four blocked shots.

Jenna Pinckney added 10 points and three steals.

Cayuga plays at Finger Lakes on Tuesday.
