AUBURN - Mr. Francis P. Truman, 58, of 10 Cottage St., Auburn, passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005 at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Erieville, N.Y., the son of Paul and Edith Morris Truman and has resided in Auburn for most of his life. A carpenter and painter by trade, he was employed with his father, P.M. Truman.
Surviving are his parents, Paul and Edith Truman, of Auburn; one sister, Mary Truman, of Auburn; one brother, Gerald and his wife, Nancy, of Cortland; a niece, Sabrina, and a nephew, Mike Truman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents and an uncle, Lt. Col. Harlow Truman, who was killed in action over France in World War II.
Private funeral services will be held today, at Farrell's Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., Auburn, with the Rev. Douglas Taylor-Weiss, rector of the Episcopal Church of SS. Peter & John, officiating. Internment will be in Fort Hill Cemetery.
