Champions for Life Fitness programs
Champions For Life offers homeschool fitness programs for gymnastics, tennis, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, floor hockey, volleyball, kickball, baseball and other group recreational programs that promote teamwork.

They are offered on Tuesdays (2-3 p.m.), Wednesdays (2-3 p.m., gymnastics only) and Thursdays (1-2) until June 28.

Groups of 10 or more can schedule a separate date and time. Annual registration cost is $10 for one child, $15 for two, $20 for three and $25 for four (children must be in the same family).

The monthly family tuition fee is $20 for one child, $35 for two, $50 for three and $60 for four (children must be in the same family).

Syracuse Blitz Girls Soccer tryouts

The New York State West champion and regional semifinalist Syracuse Blitz girls soccer team is holding tryouts for the upcoming season.

Players born on or after Aug. 1, 1988 are invited to attend the training sessions to make the U16 roster.

Premier tournament play and coaching from USSF B licensed coach. If interested, please call 343-6330 and ask for April or John Sherman.

Tryouts are also being held for the Syracuse Blitz Avalanche for those born on or after Aug. 1, 1987, and for the Syracuse Blitz Quake for those born on or after Aug. 1, 1986.

Youth softball

pitching clinic

A softball pitching clinic; will be held for girls in grades 4th-8th at West Middle School from 7-8 p.m. on Jan. 10, 24, 31 and Feb. 7, 14, 28.

Pitchers need to bring glove, sneakers, and someone to catch for them. For more information contact Bob Lee at 255-6880.

There will be a synchronized swimming show Sunday, Jan. 16 at 1 p.m..... There will be a hitting league for ages 8-18 starting Monday, Feb. 14. Improve your swing for the upcoming baseball season with expert instruction and lots of fun...... The Race Across the USA registration deadline is Monday Jan. 12..... The Great Winter Race is Sunday, Feb. 6. It consists of five-person teams comprised of a skater, snowshoer, skier and two runners. Teams compete against other teams in a variety of categories. The race starts at Casey Park and finishes at Highland Golf Club... Youth Supersports Basketball starts the week of Jan. 10.... The dodgeball registration deadline is Jan. 21. The new league starts Jan. 28.
