PALMYRA - Evelyn M. Powell, 95, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005.
Evelyn was born Oct. 15, 1909, in Dundruff, Pa., to William and Carrie Riverburg Coleman. She was married to Aubrey Powell on Dec. 31, 1929. She was a member of the Walworth Senior Citizens and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey; one brother, five sisters and a special friend, Agatha White.
She is survived by her sons, Dale A. (Katherine) Powell of Conquest and Hollis A. (Elizabeth) Powell of Shortsville; daughters, Joan Stalker of West Walworth and Cheryl (Nelson) Schommer of Palmyra; sister, Carrie Miller of Carbondale, Pa.; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will not be observed. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family, in East Palmyra Cemetery.
