AUBURN - Mary Glowacki Chayka, 89, of Adams Ave., Auburn, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at Auburn Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Chayka was a life resident of the Auburn area. Until her retirement, she had been employed by the former Auburn Plastics. She was a communicant of SS. Peter & Paul Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Chayka, in 1998.
Mrs. Chayka is survived by her son, Thomas Chayka, of Auburn; her sister, Pauline Day, and her brother, Raymond Glowacki, both of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Chayka will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, from the Plis Funeral Home, and 9:30 a.m. in SS Peter & Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home, 220 State St.
