James R. Cronin

PORT BYRON - James R. Cronin, 66, of Howell Road, Port Byron died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Cronin was born in Syracuse, the son of Charles and Gladys Leigh Cronin. He lived most of his life in the Skaneateles Falls and Conquest area. He was a mechanic with Local 545, working for many companies in New York.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Clarke Cronin; four sons, Robin Cronin and his wife, Marie of Montezuma, Michael Cronin of Conn., James Cronin Jr. of Port Byron and Robert Cronin of Throop; a daughter, Pennie Youells of Victory; two sisters, Barbara Patrick of Skaneateles and Donna Whitcomb of Hannibal; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be at the convenience of the family.

Contributions may be made to the family in care of Dolores Cronin, 755 Howell Road., Port Byron, NY 13140.

Audioun Funeral home has charge of the arrangements.
