AUBURN - Mrs. Beatrice DeForrest Cacciotti, 71, of 5618 Buck Point, Auburn, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.

A lifelong resident of Auburn, Beatrice was born on March 24, 1933, the daughter of David and Agnes Leston DeForrest. A graduate of Central High School with the Class of 1950, she retired from the Auburn GE/Powerex Co., Auburn, in 1992. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Surviving is her husband, John A. Cacciotti, whom she married June 26, 1954, in St. Mary's Church, along with their children: Bea Parisi of Auburn and John A. Cacciotti of Schenectady; brothers, Michael J. DeForrest of Auburn and David DeForrest of San Clemente, Calif.; sisters, Jeanne Nelson of Chicopee, Mass., Barbara Gilfus of Auburn and Sister David Agnes of Syracuse; two grandchildren, Patti Parisi and Sarah Blair; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, in Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. James Enright as celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Mausoleum. There are no calling hours.
