Edna Pearl Crim

MORAVIA - Edna Pearl Crim, 87, of South Willow Street, Weedsport died Saturday, Nov. 20 in Matthew House, Auburn after a brief illness.
Edna was born June 8, 1917 in Genoa the youngest child of the eleven children of William and Lillian Fritts Shaw. She was a former resident of Moravia and Auburn and had lived in Weedsport the past four years.

She was a graduate of Genoa School and had been employed as a bookkeeper with Beacon Milling in Cayuga until her retirement in 1985.

She attended St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Auburn and was a member of Owasco Valley Chapter No. 330 Order of Eastern Star. She loved to crochet, knit, sew and doing crafts and crosswords. She especially enjoyed traveling to all of the 50 United States and Canada.

She was the widow of Reginald A. Crim who died Nov. 20, 1953.

Surviving her are a daughter Lucy (Frank) Harris, formerly of Jordan, now of Mission, Texas; five grandchildren, Dean (Cyndie) Harris of McGregor, Texas, Robin Harris of Weedsport, Mark Harris of Pennsylvania, Debra Harris of Connecticut and Gregory (Norma) Harris of Weedsport; four great grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Renee and Christina; two great-great grandchildren, Octavius and Madison; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her five brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 24 in the Wade Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Moravia. Burial will be in Indian Mound Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23 at the funeral home.
