WEEDSPORT - Mr. James A. Macholl, 72, of West Brutus Street, Weedsport, died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Macholl was born in Marcellus on Aug. 29, 1932. He was the son of Louis and Clara Cooper Macholl. He had lived in the Weedsport area for many years and was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church.
In 1991, he retired from being a manager of a home for the disabled. He was a veteran of the Army, where he served in Korea as a surgical technician.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marion, in 2000.
Mr. Macholl is survived by his sons, Kenneth and Eric Macholl; four stepchildren, including Michael Brown; his two brothers and two sisters; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit his family from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, at the White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport, followed by graveside services in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Weedsport.
