AUBURN - Niccolo Lupo had 12 carries for 115 yards rushing in a Mitey Mite Flag game against Fayetteville- Manlius.
Also contributing to Auburn's rushing attack was Connor Herr who had eight carries for 85 yards, Robert Relfe had seven carries for 70 yards, Kevin Talbot had six carries for 60 yards, Justin Miles and Tommy Alexander each had four carries for 50 yards.
Defensively, Connor Gray had seven tackles and four sacks, Dominic Richardson and Noah Hutchings each had five tackles and three sacks. Matt Dewitt and Nick Vitale each added four tackles and two sacks.
Coaches cited Seth Braumbaugh, Stephen Giannotta, Joey Marinelli, Joshua Sorenson, and Bobby Reynolds for their offensive line play.
In a game against Cicero, Scotty Smith had a 45-yard run. Josh Frost, Joe Dyson, and Tyler Ely each had 30 yards rushing.
Mikey Warren led the defense with three sacks. Warren, Trei Huntsman, Anthony Torres, and Justin Czubat were cited by coaches for an outstanding goal-line stance. Coaches also cited the whole defensive line for their efforts.
