ROCHESTER - Margaret Blessing Schwartz, 100, of 25 Monteroy Road, Rochester, formerly of Auburn, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, at her home. She was the widow of Herman H. Schwartz, who predeceased her in July 1992.
Mrs. Schwartz was the daughter of Cuiler and Ella Blessing. She was born in Auburn on June 15, 1904. She was a graduate of Auburn Academic High School. She was employed for many years by the City of Auburn as an accountant in the Water Department.
A life member of the First Presbyterian Church in Auburn, she was a generous and caring member of the church.
Surviving are four nieces, Elinor Alpern, Lois Ellenoff and Ann Kass, all of New York City, and Barbara Feinberg of Greenwich, Conn.; a nephew, Bradley Schwartz of Fairfax, Va.; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and a cousin, Vincent Klein of Auburn.

Visiting hours were Thursday, at the Langham Funeral Home, 75 E. Genesee St., Auburn. Friends are invited to attend funeral services at 10 a.m. today, in First Presbyterian Church, 112 South St. The Rev. Jerry Rife, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery.
