AUBURN - Jake Thurston pounded out four hits, including two doubles and added three RBIs as the Little Giants won 18-5 over Tom Thumb in an Auburn Little League baseball contest on Saturday.

Eddie Lukowski added three hits (triple) and five RBIs on offense. Billy Kick had three hits (double) and Brian Roe added two hits and two RBIs, while Mike Gordon chipped in with four RBIs. Phil Cooper also added a double.

Lukowski struck out seven batters, while Kick added one strikeout.

Pitcher Bobby Culver had 10 strikeouts and also homered to pace Tom Thumb. Luke Zelehowsky added two hits (triple) and Mitch Corey added a double.

Kris Corey also pitched and struck out two batters.

Dana Scarselletta, Matt Brooks, Luke Dranczak and Jamie Terry each had two hits as the Elk's Club shut out Finger Lakes Center for Living 10-0.

Johnathan Westmiller added a triple. Matt Nolan, Sean Nolan, Tyler Ladd and Luke Wilczek each added hits.

Terry and Dranczak each pitched.

Bret Lawrence had one hit to pace Finger Lakes Center for Living. Mikey Gentile was praised for defense. Bret Lawrence and Joel Handley each pitched.

Steve Komanecky had three hits and added two RBIs as Auburn Correctional Facility beat Nucor 11-4. Brian Church and Bill Scala added two hits. Komanecky and Nick Granato each saw action on the mound..

Brandon Pfeifer paced Nucor with two hits and also pitched.

Auburn Pony League

Mike Granato and Vince Giannettino each had two hits as Michaels & Smolak defeated The Citizen 9-7.

Pete Sigona and Alex Green added hits. Granato and Giannettino shared mound duties.

Nate Ryan and Ryan Ringwood paced The Citizen with two hits. Ryan and Nick Fiermonte each pitched.

Auburn Boys and Girls Baseball

Johnny Lupo, Bobby Cuddy (double), Mikey Kick, Austin Duger and Ryan Clark each had three hits as the Orioles defeated the Braves 17-13.

Max Pinchak (triple), Tyler Francis and Ben Pinchak each added two hits. Max Pinchak added an unassisted double play.

Joey Dyso and Liam Cuddy paced the Braves with three hits.

Ben Morgan and Malcum Kellogg were praised for their defense.

Nick Petrosino had three hits, including a three-run homer as the Daddabbo's Pizza Indians defeated the Athletics 19-14.

Nick DeJoy and Kyle Wilmot also added three hits, while Nicole Sanchez, Kristina Wilmot and Joe DeJoy each added two hits. Pat LaDouce and Jacob Weed were praised for their defense.

Alex Wilczek, Sam DelFavaro and David Watkins each had three hits to pace the Athletics. Jonathan Brown was praised for defense.

Anne Giannone, Hannag Newert and Nate Lupo each had three hits as The Printery Yankees defeated the Auburn Police Dept. Royals 18-13.

Adrian LaManna, Timmy Moore and Sarah Belz paced the Royals with three hits.

Zach Buchberger had five hits as the Children's Health Specialists Marlins won 22-9 over the Mr. Pizza Expos.

Alex Burgmaster added three hits, while Danielle Burgmaster added a triple. Corey Knapp had a double play.

Chandler Coleman and Colin Kalaleuka each had three hits to pace the Expos. Josh Lupa added two hits.

Joseph Dyson and JoAnn Dyson each had four hits as the Ricky's Restaurant Braves beat the First Niagara Cubs 18-12.

Elizabeth Plish, Anthony Micucci, Malcom Kellogg and Anna Butera each added three hits. Zachary Morgan, Ivan Dawley, Liam Cuddy and Edward Bauso added two hits each.

Joseph Dyson was praised for defense.

Abbie Connors and Symantha Graf each had two RBIs to pace the Cubs.
