AUBURN - Susan Lombardo Stallone, 79, of Standart Woods Apartments, died Friday, March 19, 2004, at Mercy Health & Rehabilitation Center, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Stallone was born in Auburn, Feb. 12, 1925, the daughter of the late Pellegrino and Bernardine Bochino Lombardo. She had been previously employed at GE of Auburn, and also at several restaurants, including Close & Brady's, Hunter's Diner and Webster's Restaurant. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was an avid bingo player.
Susan is survived by her husband of 51 years, Frank Stallone; her two daughters, Diane and her husband Wayne Beaman of Virginia and Christine Fiefield of Syracuse; her two sons, John Stallone and his wife Monica of Auburn and Frank Stallone Jr. and his wife Susan of Lyons; six grandchildren: Jessica Para, Joshua, Laura and Michael Beaman, Angela and Joe Stallone and Michelle Stallone; one great-grandson, Jordan Para; several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her many friends, including Marilyn Mattes and Mary Condes.
Mrs. Stallone was predeceased by her four sisters, Marie Morocco, Rita Surace, Flo Luziani and Connie Verdi, who passed away in 2002; her six brothers, Carmen, William, Pat, Mike, Angelo and Paul Lombardo; her son-in-law, Leland Fiefield.
Family prayer services will be 8:15 a.m. Monday, at the White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St., Auburn, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming. Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
