AUBURN - Mr. Allen Hoskins Post, 93, of 5137 W. Lake Road, Auburn, died at home, Thursday, March 18, 2004.
A lifelong resident of the Fleming/Scipio area, he was born Nov. 16, 1910, the son of Otto and Harriette Hoskins Post. He had retired from farming and was a 64 year member and past Mmaster of the Cayuga Masonic Lodge 221.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Rothery Post, of Fleming; a stepson, David E. Yantch (Nancy) of Satellite Beach, Fla., a stepdaughter, Merilyn Y. Panarisi of Auburn; a brother, Everett Post of Interlaken; two sisters, Irene Maine of Poplar Ridge and Marion Post of Scipio; a sister-in-law, Muriel Post of Scipio; step-grandchildren, David R. Yantch, Christopher G. Yantch, Laurie Alterman, Merilee Hill, Rebecca Hill; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Ray Post and two stepgrandchildren, Susan Yantch and Elizabeth Ann Hill.

A memorial service will be at a later date in the spring. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Fleming.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Drive, Auburn, NY 13021. Farrell's Funeral Service Inc., 84 South St., Auburn is in charge of arrangements.
