Genevieve F. Walker

AUBURN - Genevieve F. Walker, 89, formerly of 110 Dunning Ave., passed into eternal life Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at the Finger Lakes Center for Living.
Born in Cayuga, she was the daughter of the late George and Jenny Tavener Marsh. She was a member of the Cayuga Methodist Church.

She is survived by three children, Mrs. Helen Mosher, Mrs. Marlene Brown (Charles) and Mr. Richard Scott (Sally).

Mrs. Walker was blessed with eight grandchildren, Darcie Perkins, Doreen Hares, Debra Dowd, Denise Arnold, Ken Roberts, Jeffery, Lori and Stephan Scott; 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Levi Scott and Harold E. Walker Sr.; a son, Harold E. Walker Jr.; a son-in-law, Ted B. Mosher; and a grandson, Ted W. Mosher.

Visiting hours were Saturday, Jan. 31, at Langham Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at the funeral home, 75 Genesee St., Auburn.

The Rev. George Craik and the Rev. Leon Oaks-Lee will co-officiate.

Spring burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Cayuga.

Those desiring may make contributions to the Matthew House or to the Cayuga County Heart Association in memory of Mrs. Walker.
