AUBURN - The Auburn wrestling team scored two victories in a tri-meet against Oswego and Fowler on Saturday. The Maroons topped Oswego 40-31 and Fowler 33-25, raising their record to 6-10.
Winners in the Oswego match were as follows: R.J. Lewis (103 pounds), Demetrius Davis (112, 11-3 score), Kevin Farrar (119), Matt Gadsby (125, pinfall in 1:00), Ryan Gadsby (130, technical fall in 1:37), James Dunster (171, technical fall in 4:17), and Bob Dickman (215, pin in 1:08). Corey Gamlen and Adam Smith won in exhibition.
Winners against Fowler were Lewis, Matt Gadsby, Ryan Gadsby (pin in :22), Jeremy Smith (145 pounds), Dunster (pin in 1:23), and Dickman. Gamlen and Ivan Servais won in exhibition.
Ryan Gadsby now has 99 career wins, and will try to become the third Maroon in school history to reach 100 wins at Central Square on Wednesday.

POPLAR RIDGE - The Chiefs' Jordan Hoyt started the dual meet off at 108 pounds with an 11-0 decision.
Other winners for Southern Cayuga (3-4-1) included Jason Hilliard (119, forfeit), Ryan Beebee (130, pin in 3:44), Neil Stevens (145, forfeit), Evan Tyrrell (152, forfeit), and John McLaughlin (171, forfeit).
The Chiefs' Jeff Littlejohn (275, pin) and Dean Stevens (pin) both won in exhibition matches.

ITHACA - Jessica Schillawski ran the 3,000 meters in 14:22.1 for Moravia Friday night, finishing sixth in the 11/12 grade age group. Amanda Lockett placed fifth in the 9/10 group, at 13:24.6.
Kerrin Epstein placed fourth in the 9/10 1,000 meters, in 3:27.3. In the 3,200-meter relay (all ages), Gemma Hall, Schillawski, Epstein and Lockett placed fourth, in 11:55.3.
Megan Benson set a new school record in the 1,500 race walk, in a time of 9:46.1.
The Moravia girls and boys team each will next compete next Friday at an 11/12 age-group meet.
